I orginally posted this at benelli forums but i figured here too. I shot my new SBE2 today for the first time. I was shooting kent 1 1/[email protected] 1625fps BB's and 2's. I installed a sure cycle magizine kit before shooting as I figure stainless steel is more rust resistant than carbon steel and I like how I can pull the plug w/o pulling out the pressure split ring. I would put 1 in the chamber and put 1 or 2 shells in the magazine and a third of the time a shell would get stuck about 1/4 of an inch from coming all the way out of the magazine. So I change the follower back to the factory and same prob. I change out the mag spring back to factory and same prob but they would get stuck about 3/4 to 1 inch in the magazine. Before I shot it I completly disassembled, cleaned and lightly oiled the bolt and magazine tube but did not touch the assembly inside the butt stock. I put 50 shells through it today. any ideas what the problem could be? I also made sure barrel was tight against the reciever.

Update: So between posts I screwed with it. If I press the cocked indicator button the new shell shoots on to the carrier w/o a hitch. So I think the carrier is trying to go up before the liveshell is completely out of the magazine. Is this something that will have to back to benelli, get better with shooting, or be fixed with a different shell? I have not tried a shorter shell yet.

They are just shocked and in denial, being as Benelli is the best thing since the padded toilet seat.

Did you oil the rails that the bolt assembly rides on?

You can install the factory magazine plug ontop of the magazine spring retainer.

I would make sure the trigger group is clean. Spray it down with a scrubber and let it sit for awhile. Put a few drops of oil in the trigger group and spray the excess off with an air hose. Make sure the carrier dog is not bent.

I degreased and then lightly oiled with FP10. I also degressed the trigger and oiled with fp 10 and the blew excess with canned air. Does anybody think it was the ammo? I am going to try some drylocks or fererals and see if that is it and some shorter shells too. If it still does it I guess I will call benelli.

I messed with mine for a while trying to get it work then got tired of having a $1500 single shot so i sent it back to benelli. Helped it to not jam as often but still will do it once in a while.

benelli shot guns don't like oil .wipe it clean and put just a dab on the rails with a q-tip..i use nothing but FP-10
also take out the magizine sping and clean magizine tube...
i would use the factory spring as benelli's tolerances are tight..you can still use the shell limiter that came with the sure cycle instaed of the benelli plug..that way you can remove it quickly.
